while waiting for cheryll to arrive, i'm gonna squeeze out a blog entry. we're going to cameron for the weekend and they have something planned out for me and i have no idea what. all they told me was to bring something purple. so, i brought a purple top, pajamas pants, bag, wig, earrings and ring. i hope that's enough hehe.
looking through my pictures, it seems like it's a month of feasting. and also, people leaving me to go on holiday.
the nom nom fest began with this awesome eggs benedict from Yeast.
oh this was really, really good.
now, here's a little secret. i actually don't like eggs benedict. or rather i tried it once ages ago and the sauce tasted really weird so i kinda just stayed away from it since then. but this was yummilicious good!! a definitely must try!! *thumbs up from the girl who doesn't like eggs benedict*
on another day, me and Ian headed to Gonbei san for a buffet lunch. one of those groupon things he got. i realise i only like those ala-carte buffets where you order and then they serve you. cause japanese food left out like this tastes very mediocre.
funny story after that. me, jean and cheryll headed for a trial class for body tone. where you do your exercised on a vibrating machine. i'm not sure cause i just had a buffet or i have motion sickness, i got sooo nauseous after and well, jap buffet came right back out.
on another gluttony day, me and ian headed to Sukiya for dinner i think. the beginning of the meal was yum as always. but after i got pretty full, the waiter served us this gorgeous plate of beef. despite me being full, i simply had to try one. and oh god, it was the most perfect beef i have ever tasted in sukiya. the cut wasn't too thin making is easy to eat, it was cut against the grain hence it was crazy tender, there was practically no fats on it and it was simply delicious!! now, everytime i go back sukiya, i'll hope that they'll once serve this delicious piece of goodness.
this is what i call a self pity sandwich.
it's one of those days i had lunch alone so i bought a sandwich from san fransisco coffee. it's chicken sambal. to not make myself feel bad, i told everyone it was awesome. but who am i kidding! my mom's sandwich is 100x better than this.
on one of those days i met up with the girls, jean was running a little late but me and cheryll were starving. soo we had a lil snack at lil wonton. it was okay-okay. not something i'm going to crave for. but uno was fun. to make the game last longer, we started out with 20 cards lol.
a while back, i told mel if she had any charity events to let me know cause i would love to volunteer. so Nippon was having an event and mel called me up to be the unofficial polaroid photographer. and of course, i was sold when she told me they were serving KFC for lunch!
we went to rumah Juara. Nippon and mel's company, Generasi Gemilang organised this thing whereby they bought boxes and Nippon supplied the paint and the kids got to paint their own lil treasure box. it was soo colorful and pretty! no pictures of the kids though cause it's child protection policy. but it was fun fun fun!!! although, mostly scary for me.
cause all the kids was so excited about the polaroid pictures, i was pretty much swarmed throughout the whole thing. but guess what? the kids all think i'm really pretty :)
this meal is actually from my SC course. food's pretty damn good. i got so excited with chicken curry with potatoes!!! and gado-gado!!! sedap btol.
okay, that's all i got!!
