The other part of October.

picking up where we left off, here's the rest of October.

let's begin with Hari Raya Haji.
also called the Feast of the Sacrifice based on wikipedia.
a public holiday on a friday, which made it a long weekend.
it was also my dad's bday.
but this was what i wore.

Eizlin's all "Astaga!" cause she was in baju kurung.
and cause it's kinda like a holy day and err... tshirt says i love Amsterdam, which is probably like the naughtiest city in the world :p

somewhere in the morning, my cousin Aziemah texted my mom on her galaxy and she told me to reply on her behalf. omg, it was the most difficult thing i have done ALL YEAR! this was part of the outcome.

firstly, the autocorrect wasn't on and then i had no idea how to include question marks and exclamation marks. eventually i resorted to typing "are you coming over to eat question mark" which had typos all over. after a while, i figured out how to get the symbols keyboard but then the problem was going back to the normal keyboard. yes yes, i'm a noob. it'll probably be a while before i hop off the apple train.

sempena my dad's bday, i honestly can't remember where we had for lunch :( which isn't surprising since i can't remember what someone said 5 minutes ago. *checks mama's facebook cause she active like that* hmm, she didnt post any pictures of it too. it was probably something we ate often. but dinner was at Dancing Fish @ BSC.

out of laziness and not very sure what to order there, we opted for the set for about 6 persons since there was 7 of us. it came up to about RM300++ i think. i could be wrong cause like i said... goldfish memory. but as far as i can remember, it came with 3 white rice, 3 yellow tumeric rice, sambal terung, dancing fish (their specialty), some chicken dish, satay and tofu. overall, food's pretty osom.

and for papa's bday cake, nutella cheesecake ordered from mom's friend's daughter. they're on fb.. cupcake bliss i think. cake was pretty osom too. this means alot coming from a person who doesn't like nuts.

and these were my outfits for the day...

the next day was big bang's concert but i think that deserves an entry by itself. hihihihi.

on sunday, was stay home and indulge in leftoever raya haji food. yum!

and sometime during the week, mel came back from her Eurotrip and she got the cutest souvenir for us. our theme for holiday souvenirs now is anything functional. so far, we have pretty paperclips i got from Paris (i got myself a card holder instead though), a cute cup cover Jean got from Japan (which i use as a card holder hehe),

pretty nail clippers Mel got from Paris too
i then used the box it came in to hold my paper clips :)

and most recently, Cheryll got us a cute huge ass foldable bag from Taiwan. super useful for like trips to shopping destinations i.e. Bangkok hehe.

i'll end this entry with a picture of a huge ass pumpkin we saw at cold storage, BV. the freaking pumpkin is RM1,088. i could get myself a new phone dy!!!
