The Friday of the Year - December

December is like Friday of the year whereby everyone just kinda loses motivation to work. you either constantly wait for holdiday on the last week of December or if you do go to work, you kinda just sit there and stare into space. its awesome!

so these are the things which happened in December:

i started watching runningman and family outing again and became crazy hooked. without even understanding what they're saying, i still have those slap-thigh-laughter moments. the ipad has been my life saviour since i've been arriving to work at 7am every morning. teman sejatiku. 

i did a whole lot of online shopping/browsing.

i bought 2 tops from Azorias and when it came, it was the wrong tops :( but the customer service was amazing! they replied the emails promptly and they even got the poslaju guy to collect the package wherever you are without you going through the hassle of going to the post office.

oh, i also found out i have virus and fibromyalgia. yeah, you heard me right. although, now i actually don't remember what it is. but i remember i have to be eat and be healthier moving forward. the conversation is as follows.... i only print screened the important bits that i need to remember.

i think its horrible to be a doctor with your family and relatives forever seeking free consultation from you. even through whatsapp. hehe. i'm amazed how my sister got me with my description of ahhh ahhh ahhh. 

based on a true story...

in other news, a few people got engaged or got married on 12.12.12. you would probably have realised that too with the sudden surge of pictures and posts on 13.12.12. i don't know how this is very relevant in relation to me. but i was happy for them :) although, for one, i'm still kinda flabbergasted. it's like Jonas really got married? really?! Jonas?!

OH. i actually forgot my brother's birthday muahahaha. but i gave the brilliant idea of getting him a battery charger thingy which was firstly accepted but subsequently thrown out the window cause they got him an iphone 5 instead. which suited me just fine cause it means I GET HIS IPHONE 4! UPGRADE, BITCHES! my brother was saying how his iphone 4 is already faulty but compared to my 3GS, its god sent!

hmm... what else? ah, i dyed my hair myself again. this time it's kao liese glossy brown.

this was right after under white light. it looks different in different lighting. but i do like for now.

and then i suddenly got all hardworking and accessorized myself. l

eafs and feathers was the theme.

also, in other other news, cheryll found out Thimble was closing down and well, cheryll and mel went crazy buying the whole shop including furniture and fittings lol. through the phone, i got myself a dress and 2 tops :) i think if i were in the shop, there'll probably be more damage cause everything was going for 70% off! Thimble will be dearly missed. between the 4 of us, we probably have almost every single item in the shop, with mel having most of the clothes and cheryll most of the accessories.

and then we all went into a lil dark place for while after the death of a beloved uncle. 

but despite all the sadness, family will always be there to make you smile. firstly, right after the cremation, we watched ezra trying to tell us that it's not raining anymore and what it seems to be a description of my dad.

and later that night, i opened facebook to this.

if i was mighty self conscious, i would probably die of shame. but alas, i think i look damn cool.  

 it was then chrismas eve weekend and me and my mom headed over to Penang for a lil getaway trip filled with a whole of food. will save that for another post.

the month ended with my cousin's wedding.

but so sad, i broke one of my favourite pair of heels :( i doubt it can be fixed but mama is going to try and send it to the cobler anyway. wish it all the best!

i ended the year with eating and watching movies with loved ones. and oh, my car broke down on 31 December. hmm... its been a pretty unfortunate month actually. and 2013 hasn't been starting out too well neither. but ah well, positive thinking!
