HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!

i just got back from Penang. traffic was not too bad actually. mostly heavy due to the rain. i actually wanted to play sims. but my mouse ran out of battery and have to use this faulty back up mouse.

nothing much happened in January, so i'll just do a quick run through. 

actually, the first 3 days were the most exciting.

my sister had a pot luck/gifts exchange on 1st January. i didn't read her message properly soo i had no idea i needed to bring a gift. 2 hours before the party, i intended to go Subang Parade to find something. but out of laziness, i went to the sundry shop nearby to get a bunch of chocolates and snacks. cause who wouldn't love snacks as a present, right? and cause i didn't wanna seem lame getting just cheapo snacks, i wrapped it up all nice, inspired by posts i saw on 9gag. 

abang went to tapau the awesomest mee goreng mamak ever from Asia Cafe. he ordered 20 portions and the guy actually fried one by one. no wonder it's soo delicious!!

this is what aziemah calls a deceiving cake. it fools you into thinking its a delicious chocolate cake but alas, its a fruit cake. meh... i don't like fruit cakes too. 

presents!!!!

i got a tumbler and pencil. 

on 2 January, i fell sick. totally lost my voice. took MC on the first day of work for 2013. year wasn't starting out very well. 

on 3 January, i super gungho went to office bright and early. and BAM!! a car ran right into me from the back. the impact was really hard cause my specs flew right out. now here's the funny part. i didn't realize my specs flew out, i actually thought the impact was so hard that i blacked out  and everything went blurry. yeah, forever the drama queen.

this is my baby after the accident. 

i was so upset at work, i made myself a crown and a wand to cheer myself up. 

even now, i still wear my crown every now and then :)

oh oh, we celebrated aunty sue's bday. leia and family organised a garden party. 

it was lovely...

also wrote a poem for Mel while waiting for her to reply me. 

on one of those free-er days, i decorated my desk to make it homier. 

this is my kakak not being supportive of my arabic princess ways.
