i'm a person who needs a lot of sleep. ideally, at least 8 hours. but mama always says "you don't go on a holiday just to sleep!"
so on our last day, it was rise and shine pretty early in the morning cause we wanted to go up Penang Hill before we caught our flight back to Subang that night.
queue was pretty short that day. took about 30-40 mins to get up there.
tickets are priced for Malaysian; RM8 adults, RM4 kids. not too sure about foreigners though.
Mama at the top!
the view of almost the whole Penang Island + Penang Bridge! can you see it, can you see it?
cause ice cream always taste good on a hot day. come to think of it, ice cream taste good on a rainy day or a freezing day. well, ice cream taste good all the time!!
as we were waiting for the train to head back down, i looked at my ticket and noticed... IT'S A KANAK-KANAK TICKET!! no wonder we only paid RM12. i thought there was a special christmas discount or something. i totally pass off as a 12 year old now. it's ridiculous how i just keep getting younger and younger. oh please, don't be jealous.
oh, this is not how the train looks like now.
and this is not how i look when i'm actually on the train.
neither is this.
i'm more of bury-hands-into-face-and-pray-that-it'-will-all-be-over-soon kind of girl. urghh, i hate anything height related like dowhill trains/cable car/airplanes type of rides. i'm cool with roller coasters though. yeah, it's one of those life's great mysteries.
for lunch, we headed back to Kek Seng Kopitiam again. despite having food poisoning, i still had my last round of asam laksa, popiah, durian ice cream and this time, we added pai tee too.
oh, it was so so good.
my cousin picked us up in the evening for dinner at Queensbay Mall and off we go to the airport. and that marks the end of my short but oh so kenyang Penang trip.
thanks and goodnight!
